Google Maps pinball lookup?

Ok so I've had this idea for a while but I'm too busy to undertake it on my own
so I thought I'd see if anyone out there is interested in trying to make this happen.

A site in which hooks into Google Maps for location of places with pinball machines and which machines. The next level would be some sort of user editable database to keep the machines and their conditions up to date (broken left flipper, tilt sensitivity, 5 ball etc).

A breif look at the Google Maps site seems to indicate that we'd just need to make some sort of KML file to store the data in but I haven't gotten beyond that to figure out how easy it is and how possible it would be to make it editable and what not.

Anyone interested in trying to get this going?
Or better yet know if something like this already exists?

Anca and I would be totally into this. Just gotta set aside some of our Copious Spare Time(TM) for it.

      Spare Time? What's that?

From further reading of the FAQ over at Google
making a site which would display the locations
and info we'd entered in manually would be pretty simple.

It's the rest that would be a pain.

Wasn't there some talk about a Pinball wiki a while ago?
If something like that was realatively up to date making the
first overlay on a map is something I could do, I think.
